Neuropsychology
Our neuropsychology department offers evaluation, assessment, diagnosis and treatment for cognitive deficits from brain trauma, tumors, strokes, CVAs, CNS infections, and dementia. The methodology includes individual and group psychotherapy, cognitive rehabilitation, neuro/cognitive testing, dementia evaluations and treatment.
Our specialists evaluate and treat adults and children with learning disabilities, attention deficits, hyperactivity, oppositional behavior, visual spatial difficulties, dyslexia, and dyscalculia. We also see patients with autism, Asperger’s disorder, and developmental delay. Neuropsychology includes treatments for anxiety, phobias, depression, anger management, smoking cessation, and weight control.
The psychological approach to pain management includes biofeedback, self-hypnosis, meditation, and coping strategies.
