| Podiatry |
| Mark V. Morano, DPM |
 |
Dr. Mark V. Morano enjoys putting his foot down to get a quick response. Whether it is in his small sports car, his larger SUV or his Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R motorcycle, the 33-year old podiatrist knows how to put his best foot forward. At his job, however, he knows how to make sure that same foot is cared for properly. As the first podiatrist to join any orthopaedic group on Staten Island, Dr. Morano joined Healthcare Associates
in Medicine, P.C. in the summer of 2008.
Born in Brooklyn but currently living in the Todt Hill section of Staten Island, Dr. Morano is a local product. He attended Monsignor Farrell high school in Oakwood before heading off to Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania. From the start, he knew where his interest was; his major in college was biology. From Lafayette he went to Rutgers in New Jersey. His interest peaked by a friend of his father's that practiced
podiatry, Dr. Morano then attended the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Morano has also completed a residency at the North General Hospital in Harlem. Dr. Morano's advanced podiatric surgical training and exposure to the newest techniques in podiatric medicine and surgery make him one of the best podiatrists in the New York area.
