Your health & safety is always our highest priority

Please be aware of our safety precautions when visiting our locations.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

To our Staten Island Community,

On Sunday, February 12th, the New York State Department of Health (DOH) lifted the state mandate regarding masking in health care settings. As a result, individual facilities are responsible for establishing their own masking policies based on the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), which takes into account community transmission levels.

Given the continued presence of COVID-19, the flu and other respiratory viruses in our service area, Northwell's current masking policy will remain in effect throughout the respiratory season.

Your health and well-being and that of your families, our patients and the members of our community remain our top priority. We will continue to monitor local transmission levels —
especially as we approach the end of respiratory virus season in the spring — and will share news should our mask-wearing requirement change in the future. All decisions will be made in line with guidance from the CDC and Northwell’s Clinical Advisory Group.

Thank you for your support and understanding.

Sincerely,

Administration
